North Parramatta Sinhala School(NPSS) celebrated its’ 25thYear on a grand scale on 3rdOctober,

2015 at Joan Sutherland Concert Hall, Penrith. The main theme of the evening being to “Pay Gratitude to the Past & Current Teachers and Committee members” , they were all invited to the occasion and a full house was observed at Sutherland Concert hall. Special Guest of the occasion was the Member of Parliament for Parramatta, Mr. Geoff Lee.

The evening was made colourful and interesting by some magnificent performances of NPSS current & past students.  Also, as a matter of showing the gratitude to Parramatta North Public School for providing the venue for NPSS for past 25 years, they were invited to perform an item in the show.  Black Town Sinhala School and Minto Sinhala School also performed items showing the coherence of Sinhala schools in NSW under the umbrella of Sinhalese Cultural Forum.

Tribute to past & current Teachers and past management committee members of NPSS were well appreciated by the community as it is in line with our much valued Sri Lankan cultural gestures.
